Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

Waikato man, Peter Chubbs will travel to Queenstown tomorrow with his sister and two brothers, to fulfill his special wish. Peter's original wish was to travel to Te Anau and Milford with his brother Kevin. As soon as his other siblings heard wind of this, they decided there would be no way this would happen, without them. Race4Life has organised Peter's Wish List and the rest of the family have paid their own way. This is precious time for the Chubb family who have always been very close. They will spend two nights in Queenstown, one at the Copthorne Hotel and the other at the Mercure Resort. They will dine at the Lone Star and will take the gondola to the Skyline Restaurant.

On Friday they will motor over to Te Anau in a car generously gifted to them by Thrifty Car Rentals and will be staying at the Distinction Hotel. The Chubbs will dine at the hotel and at the highly rated local cafe, Fat Duck. The family will travel across to Milford for a Real Journeys Cruise on the Sound and will then be flown over Fiordland by Milford Helicopters. The communities of Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford are going out of their way to make sure Peter and his family have cherished memories of this special time. Thank you all so very much.
