Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

Michael Coates is a lovely gentleman in his late seventies who has always attended music concerts with his daughter Nikki. Michael's diagnosis of terminal lung cancer was a real shock to the family. Michael shared with Nikki how he would love to go to one more concert with her before he dies. Michael loves Céline Dion. The fabulous crew at Spark Arena have gifted Michael two tickets to the August 14th concert.

Michael lives in Christchurch and Nikki in Tauranga. On Monday they both descend on Auckland and will be guests of Zac Lumsden and his team at the Grand Mercure Auckland. During their stay Father and Daughter will enjoy the hospitality of Lisa from Up Cafe, Mark from Mission Bay Cafe and Kate from the Depot. On the night of the concert their concerns for good food will be dismissed when Ange Redfern from Ripe Deli delivers on her promise to create a delightful array of organic treats for the concert goers. Volunteer, Ian Johnstone will drive Michael wherever directed, in a gifted Porsche from Continental Cars NZ.

We wish Michael and Nikki an absolutely wonderful time.
