Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

Kelly Tahitahi is one  courageous gentleman who was diagnosed in 2016 with terminal cancer and given only three months to live. Evidently Kelly has managed to outlive his prognosis. However time is running short.  Kelly's plan to wed his long time beau, Marsha, has had to be brought forward and will be taking place on Thursday morning at the Rotorua Hospital Chapel.

The family  approached Race4Life for some support.

A huge thank you goes to Susie Brown and her team at Capers Epicurean, Rotorua for providing the catering for the wedding which took place this morning at the Rotorua Hospital Chapel.

Bride Marsha and her bridesmaid had posies created by  Flowers from Ems Flowergirl. Emily the owner also organised flowers for the decorating of the venue and rose petals for the flower girl.

Pollards Mens Apparel gifted four suits for the groomsmen for the occasion and Astra Bridal sourced a beautiful gown for the Bride.

Chris Newson from Humes in Rotorua made a special trip over to Hamilton yesterday morning to pick up the dress and hand deliver it to Marsha .

The team at Michael Hill Jeweller donated two wedding rings for this very special occasion.

The icing on the cake was the generous donation by Andy's Marquee and Party Hire of the tea and coffee facilities and tableware.

Wow Rotorua NZ!!
