Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

Breast Cancer Sufferer, Judith Cuthbert, has been on holiday only once in her 41 years. Her wish is to travel to Auckland with her two children, a life long desire, and to have a little fun while she is there.

Judith who comes from Palmerston North, has been gifted train tickets by Kiwi Rail , and will catch the train with her two children 14 and 17, on the 15th Jan. The family will be picked up at the railway station, taken to their accommodation at City life Hotel first, and then to THE DEPOT, where the management have offered them a voucher to the value of $200, for their evening meal. The accommodation vouchers have been kindly donated by Annie and Harry Roos. The Cuthberts will spend 3 nights at this lovely hotel, while experiencing the tourist sights throughout the day. The management at City Life have offered the family a free breakfast every morning and an evening meal on Saturday night, at the ZEST restaurant.

During their stay Judith and children will be visiting the Auckland Zoo, Kelly Tarltons, and of course Rainbows End, which has been somewhere Judith has always dreamed of going . Darwin's Cafe at Auckland Zoo are hosting the family for lunch on Saturday and after the family's excursion at Rainbows End, on Sunday, they will be taken to Manukau Valentine's for lunch.

Collette Leonard from Sky City has provided the Cuthberts with TOTAL TOWER EXPERIENCE tickets, which they will be using on the evening of their last day. A meal kindly donated by Babal of Orbit Restaurant will follow.

The exhausted family will fly out Monday morning for a well deserved rest back home!!
