Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

An aborted holiday in Easter due to car problems, the odd flood and a trip to Auckland Hospital, motivated 31 year old Emily Stein to contact the Race4Life Trust.

On Friday Emily, her husband Chris, and their two children aged 4 and 2, will fly up to Auckland from their hometown Blenheim, to begin the second leg of their planned holiday. The trip starts in Auckland on Friday when the family will be greeted at the airport by Mark Wadman from European Motors. European Motors will be covering the cost of the motor home, that the family will make their way around Northland in. The 9 day holiday will be spent in some of the most beautiful spots on the Northland coastline.

Every detail of the trip has been covered, with service providers in the North showing overwhelming kindness and compassion in light of Emily's situation.

The family have a wonderful adventure planned and together with the RaceLife Trust would like to thank all those businesses in Blenheim, Northland and Auckland for reaching out to make this happen.

The icing on the cake has to be the 4 tickets gifted to the family to the musical Matilda, by Regional Facilities Auckland. Such a fantastic way to finish their adventure!!
