Fulfilling the wishes of Palliative Care Patients

50 year old Deborah Graham is no stranger to adversity, with a history of abuse and mental health issues to challenge her throughout her life

She has gallantly navigated her way through and now faces a diagnosis of Breast Cancer with secondaries in the liver. Deborah has very little time left but has approached the Race4Life Trust with a special request to have a wee break in Hanmer with her lovely husband of 20 years.

Today Deborah has travelled through to Hanmer Springs in style, being chaffeured by Gerard Gibbs and crew from Corporate Cabs Christchurch. To ready her for the journey a scrumptious brunch at Bloody Marys was gifted by Rydges Latimer Christchurch. This afternoon Deborah and husband Brent were spoilt to a steam and sauna, a back massage and a facial at Spa at Hanmer Springs. This evening a meal at Isobels at the Heritage Hotel has been gifted.

Tuesday will begin with brunch at The Powerhouse Cafe and then at 12.30 they will be picked up outside their accommodation at Clear Ridge Appartments, to be taken on a jet boating experiences thanks to Hanmer Springs Attractions.

A delicious dinner at Robbies Bar and Bistro will be awaiting them, upon their return from their high octane experience.

Before leaving on Wednesday morning, Deborah and Brent are guests of Alan and team at the Monteiths Brewery Bar.

Thank you Hanmer.

You are the best
